I love Camptown! We have purchased two Jayco's from camptown. One used and one new. We were treated with kindness and respect by everyone one and feel we were given a fair and honest deal both times! I have not had to have any repair work completed yet but I have no concern about it should I need it! When we wanted to upgrade our used camper recently we did not even look or shop anywhere else! This is our go to RV place!!
Way to expensive, especially on parts. I needed a 30 plug adapter and they listed it for almost $60.. when I saw that i used my phone and checked the price at Lowes and it was $11.. I even checked the price at the hardware store 2 miles away and it was $13.. When I asked the staff to consider lowering the price just 10% for a military or senior citizens discount they chuckled and said everyone wants a discount and we don't do that.
Hands down the best place to purchase! Wasted 2 days with competition and was taken care of on the spot when I arrived. I wouldn't shop anywhere else.
I will agree with other reviewers in saying that the sales employees were a professional bunch to work with back in 2015 when I purchased my camper. Since then I have returned multiple times for warranty repairs which have been met with long repair times, non-existent follow up calls, and faulty repair service. After my last visit to repair my leaking roof and cracked pop-out, I was told it was good to go. I picked up the camper after just over a month stay at Camptown RV on a Friday. The next day #hurricaneMatthew hit and my "fixed" roof poured water better than a box of Morton salt. This set in motion a series of phone calls and finger pointing. When following up with the service/warranty department I was informed camper unseen by them that it was probably a roof seal that was cracked and naturally they are not covered and so neither was the damaged associated with it. They were quick to inform me that they could not be held accountable for something they didn't fix.....?...Still trying to figure that one out. So now I have water logged camper to match my dampened spirits from dealing with these Yahoo's. Long story short if you can go somewhere else go. If you know someone looking to buy, recommend somewhere else.
Very warm and friendly staff, went out of their way to help me get what I needed. Absolutely NO "used car salesman" feel from anyone there unlike at other area RV dealerships.
